3 books you shouldn’t let become ‘Shelf Help’ – Part Deux!

A while back I wrote my first piece on ‘Shelf Help’ which, to my surprise and joy, I had some great feedback on. As someone aspiring to become a better writer, I really enjoyed getting uplifting and encouraging comments and (more importantly) areas to improve – please keep them coming.
So, checking the shelves again, I’ve picked the following three books to lay on you.  These books have greatly influenced my mindset and I’m sure they will for you to, so be prepared and have a notepad handy…
  • ‘Think and Grow Rich’ by Napoleon Hill and ‘Rich Dad, Poor Dad’ by Robert Kiyosaki – Both inspired me to have a structured view of my finances gave me an introduction into where/how I should be focusing my efforts towards doing more of things I love and set me on my path of thinking like an Entrepreneur.
  • 4-Hour Work Week, Tim Ferris – this is simply on another level.  For motivation, health, productivity and doing more of what you love, this is a must read for everyone.
  • Art of War,  Sun-Tzu – if you like strategy and are looking to improve this book is gold – though, we’re not running an army to conquer foes. It is a chess master’s handbook, of sorts. Packed with insights that can be easily transposed into leadership qualities or simply for gaining a badass-chess-playing mentality!!
Enjoy your reading and don’t let these books become your next Shelf Help.
